Backend Python Developer

We are seeking a skilled Python Backend Developer with extensive experience in Shopify API development to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing databases for our internal business web applications, which will be hosted on a cloud server. This role involves building robust APIs for front-end developers, creating efficient ETL Python scripts, and researching technical solutions to meet our business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable databases for internal web applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.

• Develop and maintain APIs for front-end developers, facilitating seamless integration and communication between systems.

• Create and manage ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) scripts in Python to migrate business data from various software vendors into Google BigQuery.

• Work closely with the team to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

• Research and identify the most suitable APIs to collect specific business data and integrate them effectively into our systems.

• Set up and maintain data pipelines to Google BigQuery, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.

• Stay updated with the latest industry trends in web development and cloud technologies to recommend and implement improvements.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success and adherence to timelines and quality standards.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Proven experience as a Python Developer, specifically with extensive Shopify API integration and development.

• Strong experience in database design and management, preferably with experience in cloud-hosted environments.

• Proficient in creating and managing ETL processes, with a focus on Python scripting.

• Familiarity with Google BigQuery or similar data warehousing solutions.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to research and implement technical solutions.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
