Backend Engineer (f/m/d)

iATROS is looking for backend Backend Engineers to join our team, at the heart of our international engineering efforts. We are looking for collaborative and pragmatic engineers who will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, reliable, and secure backend systems that enable our medical products to function efficiently and effectively.

We are looking for someone with a passion for designing and building experiences that are highly reliable and used by thousands of patients daily. Our systems visualize medical treatments process for doctors and patients and ensures a digital therapy process. Automatic real-time monitoring of various data sources alerts chronic sick patients on abnormal trends of their health values.

Tasks

You will ...

  • develop and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure backend systems using Python.

  • build with scale & reliability in mind. Maintaining this platform at scale requires constant investment in security, reliability, monitoring and reporting tooling.

  • design, deploy, and maintain infrastructure for cloud-based environments, including monitoring, auto-scaling, and CI/CD.

  • automate build, deployment, and testing processes.

  • collaborate with a cross-functional agile team.

  • debug and troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.

  • maintain high-quality code standards and ensure that coding best practices are followed.

  • conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

Requirements

If you have...

  • at least 4 years of experience in developing, deploying, and maintaining Python applications

  • experience with backend frameworks such as Django, Flask, or Spring

  • understanding of software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum

  • strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

  • experience in DevOps practices for cloud-based environments, including monitoring, auto-scaling, and CI/CD

  • familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
