Job Description

Responsibilities

Consultant will support 2024 Teams Roll-Out Project, requiring expertise in unified communications, cloud voice technologies, Microsoft Teams, Oracle SBC, SIP protocol, and tier 3-4 operational support. Significant experience supporting unified communications in large enterprise environments. Provide technical direction and engineering support for projects and infrastructure within the project. Possess advanced functional knowledge of evolving voice and network engineering industry technologies/competition, concepts, and trends.

Scope of Work Will include the following:

  1. Lead, guide, and assist in the design and configuration of global dial-plan.
  2. Provide input and make recommendations regarding success of the project.
  3. Apply engineering principles into the design and enhancement of new and existing system Document new system components, or modifications to existing components.
  4. Perform engineering tasks and assignments in support of business needs.
  5. Perform engineering technology requirements gathering, deployment, and configuration for new and modified systems.
  6. Provide technical leadership in the architecture discipline and development of information technology solutions.
  7. Present clear, organized and concise information to all audiences through a variety of media to enable effective business decisions.
  8. Provides engineering support for large-scale 24x7 operational environment, including off-hours including EMEA work hours.
  9. Ability to support current project plan and roll-out.
  10. Perform other duties as assigned.

Technical Qualifications:

  1. Advanced hands-on telephony experience within MS Teams, MS Teams Voice, Oracle SBC/ECB, and/or routing of Universal/International Toll-Free routing
  2. Significant hands-on experience Oracle SBC network design, configuration, support, and maintenance
  3. Advanced hands-on experience with the SIP protocol and analyzing call flows for global dial plan design

Advanced level of SIP Normalization scripting.

  1. Strong proficiency with global direct routing, E.164 dial plans, e911, SIP Trunking, PowerShell scripting, and MS Teams routing policies
  2. Microsoft Teams
  3. Oracle ACME 3900 Platform
  4. Cisco Call Management Technology
  5. Experience with Cisco 4400 and Catalyst Gateways to support provider connections.
  6. Experience with Oracle Interoperations Monitoring
  7. Oracle ACME Session Border Controllers - Oracle SBC/ECB
  8. Teams Direct Routing
  9. Experience with the following Apps is a plus: Intrado E911, Mutare Spam calls, Unimax for Provisioning Audio Codes and Poly Desk Phones for Teams good to have
  10. Cisco CUBE and Analog Gateways (nice to have)
