Job Description

As an Embedded Software Design Engineer at our client's SW department in Stockholm you will be part of an agile team that designs, develops, tests, troubleshoots and debugs embedded systems software through concept phases up to serial production and maintenance. We expect you to have a very good knowledge within the field of embedded software development and software test on unit, integration and system level. You have the ability to work and collaborate in a cross-functional team environment with a variety of responsibilities and projects.

Qualifications

Required skills

  • BSc or MSc preferably in electrical engineering, mechatronics or equivalent
  • Embedded development, C and Python programming
  • Fluent English

Good to know but not a must

  • Systems engineering and requirements management
  • PM and induction motor control knowledge
  • Experience working with communication protocols, such as CAN
  • Developing safety critical systems according to e.g. ISO26262 or ISO13849-1
  • Developing cyber security critical systems according to e.g. ISO21434
  • Working in an agile environment e.g. Scrum and Kanban
  • Standard tools such as Jira, Subversion, Jenkins or corresponding
