Senior Backend Developer (Java/Python)

During your day as a Backend Developer you will:

• Work closely with the frontend developers

• Build REST APIs

• Manage Flux queries to InfluxDB

• Manage Postgres database and database schema

• Manage users authentication

• Develop automated unit and system tests

• Document and maintain software features and functionality

As a Backend Developer you need to have:

• 6+ years of software development experience

• 5+ years of Java experience

• 3+ years of Python experience

• Experience with the Micronaut framework

• Strong software development fundamentals, data structures, design patterns

• Well-versed with AWS services (RDS, EC2, S3, Secrets Manager)

• Good understanding of InfluxDB Flux queries

• Proficiency with Postgres SQL queries

• Experience with SaaS products

• Experience with observability and visualization products (or other data-centric products) before

• Understanding of Docker containers
